IT Service Desk Specialist

For our Client, a leading global proprietary trading company we are searching for IT Service Desk Specialist to join their team in Warsaw.

Job specification:
• Provide support for all office hardware and on all standard applications support
• Escalate as appropriate where a resolution cannot be provided
• Ensure tickets are responded to within the agreed service levels
• Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets
• Perform typical support duties such as physical setup of computers, run cables and install software
• Perform typical IT administration duties such as reset user passwords and map drives
• React with suitable priority to incidents that significantly impact core business activities
• Provide support and set up for video and telephone conferencing
• Work within the agreed standards to ensure adherence to group policies and procedures

Requirements:
• 1-3 years previous IT Service Desk experience
• Very good English and Polish language skills (speaking & writing)
• Ability to communicate and build rapport with internal clients at all levels across the organisation
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and configuring Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications as well as IT hardware (setting up of PC’s, projectors, basic network interconnections, etc.)
• Ability to be proactive and also work independently if required
• Strong customer service focus with a desire to deliver a high quality service
• Proven experience of working under pressure and to tight deadline
• Demonstrated practical approach to problem solving
• Ability to play an active part of a supportive team
