Your role
Are you skillful Java developer with the knowledge of messaging area? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in how to innovate?
We’re looking for someone like you to:

• Develop Java based application within messaging area
• Create and extend standalone and web applications
• Provide support for tracing and analyzing defective applications (in development and test)
• Coming up with ideas/suggestions to improve current tools, workflows, processes and reporting
• Support the customer in case there are problems

Your team
The team is responsible for designing and implementing tools and products to automate the setup and operation of Web and Messaging Platforms on different operating systems and with varying configurations. These products include WebSphere, Tomcat, IIS application servers and MQ, EMS and RV for messaging which need to be integrated into the banks infrastructure as well as the tooling that allows the installation and application deployment into those.

Your experience and skills

You have:
• expert knowledge in Java
• good knowledge of Perl
• good knowledge of Unix
• working knowledge developer tools (Eclipse, Ant, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, Nexus)
• exposure to Messaging API (IBM MQ/Tibco EMS) as an asset

You are:
• curious and collaborative, comfortable working independently, as well as in a global team
• good coordinator, able to run various activities across the team
• fluent in English, German is an asset
