Your role
Are you passionate about bringing systems to life? Do you have a curious nature, always interested in how to innovate? We’re looking for someone like that to help us:
– Design the next generation of network management tools
– Research and evaluate off the shelf NMS products
– Run proof of concept and testing for new tools
– Deliver and document solution deployments (such as ClearPass, Aruba Airwave and Fluke AME) and handover to operations
– Be the go-to person for Level 3 escalations

Your team
You’ll be working in the Network Services Tools and Monitoring team Wroclaw. We are responsible for designing and testing the management tools which ensure UBS networks are capable of supporting the global UBS business. We are a collaborative team and always looking for innovative ideas which can take our network management and tooling services to the next level

Your experience and skills

You have:
– excellent understanding of Network Management concepts such as fault, performance, configuration and access management
– excellent understanding of SNMP, routing and switching
– experience in the deployment and configuration of market leading network management tools in a large-scale enterprise environment
– knowledge of Smarts, SevOne, HPNA, Splunk, Fluke, Juniper Space, JSA, Cisco an advantage
– strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)

You are:
– curious and collaborative, comfortable working independently, as well as in a team
– the go-to person for the latest development innovation
– imaginative and creative with emerging technologies and an ambassador for test- and behavior-driven development
– fluent in English
