Database & Business Intelligence Engineer (SQL Server)

we are currently looking for on a freelance or full-time basis for our Poznan office.

You will work with a young team on building Database & Online reporting systems for our clients. This involves understanding client data & client requirements and transforming them into intuitive applications. You should be both: a technically oriented person, that has extensive experience using Microsoft SQL Server but also a business-oriented
person that is keen on developing understanding of their business context.

Must have prerequisites:

Completed masters degree (preferably Management Information Systems or similar but other courses welcome) with above average performance

>=2 years experience in design, development and maintenance of database and BI applications using MS SQL-Server

Proven experience in quickly understanding unknown source data

Advanced knowledge in programming with Microsoft SQL and VB.net

Fluent in spoken and written English

Nice to have (candidates meeting one ore more of these criteria will be preferred):

Proven practical experience in building business OLAP-systems using MS SQL Server BI components (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS)

Hands-on programming knowledge of MDX

Holders of relevant Microsoft certificates (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)

At least working knowledge of German
