We are looking for applicants to join a new 24 × 7 Helpdesk team supporting all Lowcostravelgroup’s activities. The primary role is first line desktop and server support on our internal systems as well as supporting our bespoke booking engine and production websites.

The successful candidate will demonstrate their drive and enthusiasm to not only use and develop existing skills, but to embrace, learn and support new and cutting edge technologies. Training on systems will be provided before you join the team.

Currently we are looking for:

1st Line Helpdesk Analyst

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide first line helpdesk support for all Lowcosttravelgroup departments and members of staff utilising a ticket system and direct calls from end users.
Provide additional first line for application support on internal bespoke systems and production web infrastructure.
Triage support requests and escalate to the appropriate team for support.
Monitoring of internal and external systems and escalate to the appropriate team where alerts or metrics deviate from standard levels.

REQUIREMENTS

Clear spoken English and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to learn and have the desire to develop personal skill sets.
Team player – ability to work well with team members and with other teams to deliver solutions.
A self-starter – ability to work independently but stay focused on delivery to agreed requirements.
Knowledge with Microsoft Office.
Understanding of networking concepts.
Experience with Windows Desktop & Server operating systems an advantage.
Experience with Microsoft Server platforms such as Exchange, Lync, SQL an advantage.
Driving license and vehicle for travel to and from place of work due to shift patterns.
