Business Analyst
Place: Norwich/UK
Starting date: February
Salary: +20k monthly

Key Responsibilities:
• Together with the Product Manager/Owner, act as bridge between the business and IT, translating business needs into technical specs for Development, be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
• Gather and analyse requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys and other initiatives required to understand business needs and develop business process descriptions, Use Cases, scenarios, business analysis and workflow
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with Stakeholder and end users, analyse and identify functional and non-functional requirements and develop Interface illustrations where applicable to help formulate solutions
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish business requests from underlying needs
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously
• Work independently with Stakeholders to define concepts with direction of Product
• Understand project constraints
• Drive and challenge business units on assumptions and plans
• Write crystal clear User Stories and deliver necessary artefacts for Development to develop to
• Write User Acceptance Criteria clearly understood by the business to be the basis for their acceptance and for QA to Quality Control against
• Be involved in testing and releases

Skills/Proficiencies required:
• Proactive, solution oriented with strong initiative
• Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate these into requirements
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage confidently with Stakeholders and end users and clearly communicate vision, goals and requirements to Development
• attention to detail
• Experience using SCRUM agile methodology, including writing of User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and technical specs
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills
• Experience using Jira/Confluence helpful
• Background in Software Development/IT beneficial
