Advanta Digital (a Fintech Consultants group company) are seeking an experienced Flash (AS2/3) developer with experience of JSON/XML integration to work in our offices in Boston, Lincolnshire, UK starting late April/early May.

The work will include development of new Flash application components which integrate into our existing JSON/XML enabled back-end. If you’ve got attention to detail, a passion for writing well-documented and high quality code and a willingness to help our clients integrate the components into their applications, this could be the role for you.

Note that the role is based in our offices in Boston, Lincolnshire – you must be able to be based in our offices for the duration of the 3 month project.

Essential skills

• Prior experience of developing Flash AS2/3 applications
• Prior experience of integrating Flash applications into serverside applications using RESTful web services (with XML or JSON)
• XSD/XML schema experience
• Ability to document Flash code to a high standard (incl inline docs and wiki docs)

Skills which are helpful but not essential :

• Flash games or ad network development experience
• Flex/Air experience
• Javascript/CSS/XHTML web design skills
• Flash cryptography skills
• UML modelling experience
