SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/PHP

Startup based in Szczecin, currently residing in Technopark Pomerania. We develop performant web applications for our customer in Switzerland. We create full stack systems from client-side code to infrastructure setup and monitoring. Our technology stack consists of variety modern and flexible technologies. We give ourselves a lot of freedom and autonomy in development while still keeping focus on high-quality code.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Writing fast and fluid code in oop php
Design highly performant web applications and micro services
Solve new, challenging problems
Develop and implement scalability strategies (distributed computing, caching etc.)
Implement complex backend solutions
Work with latest technologies

REQUIREMENTS

Specialist in object-oriented programming in PHP (5.4, strongly-typed, maintainable, extendable and testable code)
Experience in software and web development (analysis, architecture, design patterns, unit testing)
Ability to quickly master newly discovered libraries, apis, services
Proactivity, self-reliance, flexibility and the ability to work in a team
Proficient in English

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with services like Redis, Memcached, Elasticsearch
Experience in Java programming
Experience in advanced object-oriented and functional JavaScript (including ES6)
Bachelor of Computer Sciences or a similar degree in computer science
