OBJECTIVE:
To provide high quality and responsive Level 1 and Level 2 application support to all Gemalto BI users in the EMEA region (and other business applications) as part of the regional team and also the worldwide application support service.

Your main responsibilities will cover:
*Provide an effective first line application support and incident management service to BI users in EMEA
*Level 1 support activities for BI including:
*Managing user access requests,
*Verifying Cube or Report availability,
*Verifying technical pre-requisite for Excel or Reporting Services
*Advice on excel usage / pivot table
*Explaining BI cubes that supporting each functional domain
*Assigning tickets to the relevant experts where necessary
*Level 2 support activities for BI including:
*Detailed data analysis on a given BI cube
*Change request / Bug fixing analysis
*Carry out training
*Prepare documentation for users and support teams
*Monitoring activities covering critical BI data refresh process in synchronization with Asia & America regional BI support, mainly during Financial closing period
*Participate in application performance tests with local users
*Work closely with and provide back-up for application support teams in other regions (Asia and Americas)
*Build strong working relationships with Level 2 support teams, users, colleagues and suppliers to ensure that the support service operates smoothly
*Manage all support tickets efficiently and in line with defined support service
*Take ownership of incidents and liaise with the appropriate parties until the incident or problem has been resolved including escalations to third party suppliers or colleagues

Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Education
*Higher education (degree optional)

Competences
*Above average intelligence
*Knowledge of business processes and applications
*Good English speaking and written skills
*Ability also to speak French is an advantage
*Good understanding of data and data relationships/structures
*Good data manipulation skills using spreadsheets and cubes

Interpersonal skills
*Ability to coordinate activities and communicate clearly
*Good communication skills with end-users
*Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
