Capgemini Infrastructure Services is one of the biggest outsourcing service providers in Poland. In 2006, we opened a second center in Katowice and in 2012 a third center in Opole. Today, our team of 2,000 professionals delivers IT outsourcing services to 40 clients in 20 languages.

Position purpose

• Ensure smooth operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability
• Evaluating, upgrading and supporting network infrastructure
• Ensure 24×7 operations and focus on Service Level Agreement
• Monitor and analyze network traffic
• Develop and upgrade existing network documentation
• Troubleshoot and solve incidents
• Check RFCs according to policy
• Implement changes

Requirements

• German and English – good written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Telecommunication, etc) is a plus,
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals,
• Knowledge of ISO/OSI model
• Routing knowledge (static, EIGRP and BGP would be advantage)
• ARP Protocol knowledge
• L2 Switching technologies knowledge (VLAN, EtherChannel, STP, RSTP)
• L3 redundancy knowledge (HSRP, VRRP)
• General Firewall knowledge,
• Experience and flexibility regarding on-call responsibilities,

Following skills would be advantage:

• Firewalls knowledge (preffered Checkpoint, Fortigate)
• General Loadbalancer knowledge (preffered F5 or Brocade)
• Very good troubleshooting skills and problem solving abilities
• IDS/IPS knowledge
• VPN solutions knowlege (prefered Cisco)
• SNMP v2c, v3 knowledge
• Linux administration (postfix, squid, nginx)
