Capgemini Infrastructure Services is one of the biggest outsourcing service providers in Poland. In 2006, we opened a second center in Katowice and in 2012 a third center in Opole. Today, our team of 2,000 professionals delivers IT outsourcing services to 40 clients in 20 languages.

Position purpose and scope of work

• Incident management and problem management
• Batch Scheduling
• Planning management on applications
• On demand requests
• Cyclic tasks to prepare applications from test to production environment

Candidate’s profile

• At least 3 years of experience in IT field
• Working knowlegde of operating systems: Unix, Linux, Windows
• Knowledge of UNIX system architecture
o Knowledge of kernel, processes, file trees, services verification, log rotation, system installation and configuration, applying patches and system upgrades, error analysis and fixing, experience in performance tuning
• Experience in the following:
o Scheduler – ability to create, update, delete of operations jobs and scripts using Control M (version 7)
o WINTEL – Windows (various versions)
o Users and groups and their environments – ability to create, update, delete users and group and maintain the permissions
• Fluent verbal and written French
• Knowledge of English on communicative level

Would be an advantage

• Experience in security and networking field
o Rights, policies, secure connections, firewalls, backup, recovery etc., network configuration (DHCP, static IP, VLAN, etc.), competencies in configuring of network resources (NFS)
• Filesystem management
o Ability to maintain the physical location of the files, disk space management, storage management, knowledge of logical volume managers (LVM, VxVM, SVM)
