Job description

• Monitor and supervise the IT system peripherals and operations of our client’s IT layout
• Follow a standardized process consisting of explicit and precise procedures
• Carry out tasks by strictly following the documents containing the procedures and operations
• Respond to the system alarms by providing first level assistance
• Working Pattern: Shift worker covering 24/7/365

Main accountabilities

• Follow a set of tasks including system verification, day to day maintenance of the IT system peripherals
• Take first level actions on the peripherals
• Take prompt actions to treat the system alarms by following the standard procedures
• Report all new incidents to the upper technical level
• Resolve recurrent incidents according to the documented written procedures
• Execute the procedures to secure and protect the IT peripherals
• Accomplish a requested set of tasks following the planning and the day-to-day operations
• Complete and update the operations report
• Update all procedures documents
• These activities may be completed along others arising from clients punctual needs and the work schedule

Requirements

• Fluent French
• Intermediate English
• Knowledge of operation systems (Windows + basic DOS commands; Unix/Linux would be advantage)
• Knowledge of network infrastructure
• Office 2007
• Knowledge of RDP and its practical use
