Job Description:
The ideal candidate is highly motivated to design and develop innovative solutions using Python, Perl, SQL and handful of other languages for supporting projects. This engineer should take pride in writing maintainable and highly reliable code. This person should be able to understand the big picture of the system and be able to solve complicated problems within that system. This person will work closely with other team members and various groups throughout the company and should be able to conduct design and code reviews.

Responsibilities:

-create new tools from scratch, enhance existing tools and optimize existing functionality, from conception and design through testing and deployment
-work on projects that improve the efficiency and safety of operational workflows
-work to understand, explain and improve complicated code bases

Requirements:
-bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience
-experience with programming in Python and/or Perl (e.g. gained on the university/ interns)
-Linux/ Unix platforms experience
-some experience with SQL
-advanced English
