Merchenta’s behavioural advertising platform is used in over 40 countries, by major brands including Microsoft, ASOS, Mazda and many others. Due to further growth, we are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join our team in Krakow on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of engineering and quality assurance teams
• Ensuring on-time, high quality delivery of software components to our global client base
• Shaping project best practices & continual process improvement across engineering/QA teams
• Overseeing infrastructure and capacity planning processes
• Providing advice and guidance to other team members

Key skills required :

• A minimum of 4 years project management or engineering management experience in a fast-moving environment
• In-depth experience of agile development practices, ideally gained in an early-stage/startup environment
• Familiarity with some or all of the following : quality assurance processes, release processes, source control systems
• Strong academic background preferably with Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Science or related discipline
• Advanced analytical skills, creative thinking, resourcefulness with good attention to detail
• Fluent English (other European languages are helpful, but not essential)
• Strong interpersonal, presentation & communication skills

The successful candidate will have a technical software engineering/ development background.
