Based at our modern offices in Stare Miasto, we are seeking additional Senior Java Softeware Engineers to join our team working on high-frequency trading and real-time media applications. Merchenta’s behavioural advertising platform is used in over 40 countries, by major brands including Microsoft, ASOS, Mazda and many others.

Key responsibilities
• Design, development and implementation of globally-distributed Java/Scala applications
• Ensuring code quality and good unit test coverage of applications
• Providing advice and guidance to other team members
• A desire to learn every day, to ask “why?” and “how can we improve?”

Key skills required :

• Significant Java development experience (minimum 5 years) in a distributed computing environment
• Experience of relational and no-SQL technologies (eg mySQL, Couchbase, MongoDB)
• Experience of common web technologies (eg HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery )
• Good spoken/written English (other European languages are helpful, but not essential)
• Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline
