Description

Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

Qualifications

You should possess a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Additional qualifications include:
- Good command of programming language C and/or C++ and Assembly language
- Knowledge of Windows, Windows CE or Linux driver programming

The following qualifications would be added advantages:
- Strong PC architecture knowledge from system BIOS POST to Option ROM execution
- Familiarity with mode-setting display pipeline
- In-depth practical know-how of graphics standards such as VGA, VESA, APG, GART, DTD, EDID, I2C, and others
- Familiarity with Port-80, Soft-ICE and In-Target Probe (ITP) debugging
- Knowledge of Miniport, DDGPEor XServer
- Knowledge of low-level know-how on D3D
rendering pipeline
- Knowledge or experience in developing Video CODEC
- Three to Six years experience in developing embedded device driver
- Working experience in Video BIOS and graphics driver programming
