Job specification:
• Administration of a database system with the assistance of more than one DBA
• Installing and upgrading the Oracle server and application tools
• Allocating system storage and plan future storage requirements for the database system
• Creating primary database storage structures after application developers have designed an application
• Creating primary objects (tables, views, indexes) once application developers have designed an application
• Modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers
• Controlling and monitor user access to the database
• Monitoring the performance of the databases
• Planning for backup and recovery of database information
• Maintenance of Disaster Recovery

Requirements:
• Associates degree or equivalent combination and/or experience in related field
• 2 – 5 years of experience in an Oracle or SQL support position
• Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time
• Ability to learn quickly in order to work efficiently and meet deadlines
