Project Description:

The QA team you will be joining is responsible for testing activities across an enterprise-wide delivery in the Bank. Team members cover a variety of roles including test management and coordination, business analysis, test design and test executions. The team utilizes agile methodologies with testing occurring throughout the lifecycle, iteration by iteration with a strong emphasis on automated testing and short release cycles. The central QA management team is located in London but interact regularly with QA teams located round the globe (London, Poland, China). We are currently looking for a QA Automation Analyst to join the Automation team in Poland, Automation QA members in Poland and London will be reporting to the QA Manager based in London.

Responsibilities:

Your role will be Automation specialist with in the global automation team.

This role will involve:

• Gaining an understanding current framework.
• Expanding the capabilities of the current framework, especially in the area of new web technologies (Flex, HTML5, CSS3…)
• Insuring new features can be tested by the framework.
• Providing framework and tooling support to other QA and support teams working in the program.
• Maintaining and expanding keyword driven regression and smoke test packs.
• Configuring test execution environments
• Scheduling automation runs and analyzing results
• Correcting scripts if they are the cause of test failure
• Raising and tracking defects with respective QA and dev teams arising from test failures
• Constantly improving automated test coverage

Requirements:
You must have good programming skills required for building automated regression tests for a large scale enterprise application. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience to date demonstrating successful automation deliveries and has capabilities to work with Delivery Manager, QA members located globally. You should be willing to learn new tools, latest technologies and provide cost effective and robust automation solutions. You must have a good knowledge of the software test automation best practices and industry standard automation tools

Must have:
• 5+ years of automation testing experience
• Good understanding and knowledge of automation testing methodologies
• Good Knowledge of building hybrid automation frameworks
• Experience in automating applications built on latest web technologies like Flex , HTML5
• Good knowledge of mobile applications automation : IOS Native and Hybrid apps
• Good Knowledge of the following: HP Quality Center , JIRA, Version One
• Experience in any of the industry standard automation tool : QTP , Selenium, RIATest
• Excellent programming or scripting skills. Good knowledge on any one of : Ruby , Perl , JavaScript , Java , VBScript
• Good knowledge on testing frameworks like Cucumber , Mocha etc
• Experience in working with source control tools : SVN , Github
• Working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS databases
• Good knowledge on Unix /Linux environments and basic Unix shell scripting

Nice to have:
• ISEB Software Testing Certification – Foundation /Intermediate /Practitioner
• Previous experience testing online eCommerce applications.
• Straight through processing knowledge
• Understanding of Performance and Load testing with LoadRunner experience
• Understanding on Adobe Flex,HTML5 technologies
• Knowledge of Unit Testing and Agile Methodologies
