Job specification:

• Planning and implementation of system migrations to the virtual server farms including planning for the expansion and DR Failover for our VMware server farms between Client’s Data Centers
• Responsible for availability of the server-side infrastructure components in a complex and dynamic environment
• Design and implement new projects into Client’s diverse infrastructure environments
• Project management tasks in order to execute technical projects from budget to final implementation
• Identify potential risks and improvement opportunities and implement changes
• Cooperation of other workgroups

Requirements:

• Experience in automating deployments / changes through scripting
• Thorough knowledge of vmware enterprise hypervisor technology and excellent troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge on performance metrics and interpretation on virtual and physical environments
• Basic knowledge on networking and SAN environments
• Linux and Windows OS administration experience
• Willing to join an on-call scenario supporting a heterogenous infrastructure environment
• Flexible in working outside business hours when required for emergency issues
• Experience in or willing to learn new technologies like Citrix Presentation server, Symantec Clustering, Symantec Netbackup , etc.
• Experience in working in an environment where change management plays an important role
• Knowledge on the principles of ITIL
• Good in selling projects and technologies to higher management
• Fluency in Polish and excellent knowledge of English is a must
