EMBEDDED SYSTEMS ENGINEER C/C++

Job Description:
Currently, we are looking for Consultants who will carry out a project for our Client, which is the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation. Their products, software and services carry brands recognized globally for quality, innovation and performance.

Main tasks:
The person will take part in a huge project dedicated to automotive sector. Scope of duties includes participation in the whole lifecycle software development processes, (low level programming C, C++, work on processors (ARM), preparation of unit tests) – till the launch of the software on hardware

Ideal candidate profile:
• Experience with lifecycle software development processes (requirements, design, code, unit test, etc.),
• Low level firmware and hardware experience, including C/C++ and assembly language programming for an ARM processor family. Experience with multicore processors is a plus,
• Knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming techniques,
• Experience with real-time operating systems and IDE tool chains. Familiarity with Wind River’s VxWorks, Hypervisor, and Workbench is a plus,
• Experience with in-circuit-emulators and logic analyzers for debugging. Experience with Wind River’s ICE2 is a plus,
• Experience in writing unit tests. Experience with CPPUnit is a plus,
• Experience with version control systems, defect tracking tools, and document review tools. Familiarity with ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Code Collaborator is a plus
