Java Developer
Join our newly established Development Center in Krakow and become a member of our open minded, progressive and professional team. In this role you will be working on projects for one our world famous clients. Responsibilities:
• Under general direction, develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity
• Has good understanding of business application
• Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them
• Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
• May assist in development of software technical documentation
• Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions
• Designs and codes complex applications using advanced technology
• May create optimization programs to resolve problems
• May design and build prototype applications
• Cooperates with a European team (main offices are located in Poland and Germany)
• Works on tours solutions for travel leisure market
Requirements:
Mandatory:
• Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
• Good command of English language is a must
• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing Java applications
• Very good Java (SE/EE) programming skills
• Very good Object Oriented design and programming practices knowledge
• Experience with web applications development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) built on Java technologies stack (Tomcat, JSF)
• UNIX/Linux knowledge
• Very good team working skills
Desirable:
• Experience with SQL and mainstream relational database engines is a plus
• Good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate is a plus
• Good knowledge of XML, XSLT is a plus
• Knowledge of ServiceMix, Camel is a plus
• Experience in unit testing
