Currently, we are looking for a consultant who will carry out a project for our Client, which is the worldwide company providing tools facilitating HR management. The company’s solutions include: talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, succession planning and compensation management

JAVA DEVELOPER
Work place: Kraków

Main tasks:
• Developing software on a Java Technology Platform (Java, HTML, XML, XSL, JSP/Servlets, EJB, Hibernate)
• Thorough testing and verification of all developed components
• Producing supporting technical document and accurate estimates
• Providing an intelligent approach to problem solving and analysis
• Understanding high level designs
• Mentoring junior members in their specialised areas
• Participating in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and prepared to receive the same

Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years experience of development in a Java environment using J2EE (i.e. EJB), Hibernate
• A minimum of 2 years experience working with Oracle, or MySQL platform
• Experience working with ESB solutions (ActiveMQ, Camel, Mule)
• Experience working with Java Spring framework
• Experience of (X)HTML, XML/XSL, JSP/Servlets and JavaScript is essential
• Good understanding of data exchange and integration technologies using web services
• Knowledge of Tomcat application server setup and configuration
• Experience of software development of product releases in a multi-site, multi-lingual, multi-country and fast paced environment
• Possess and demonstrate a “Can DO “ attitude
• Ability and confidence to raise concerns and issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English is essential
• Willingness to learn, personal desire to keep up to date with technology advancement and interest in software development
• Team player attitude

Optional skills:
• SCJP certification
• Experience of Agile methodologies, preferably SCRUM
• Experience of working in a test driven development
