SENIOR C++ DEVELOPER IN KRAKOW

Responsibilities:

As a team member successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Development of new components and new features for existing ones in exchange connectivity area (Reference Data, Market Data and Trading)
• clarify business requirements
• design required changes
• provide effort estimations
• do coding
• unit testing, develop test scenarios and support further release phases)
• Participating in Level 2 and 3 Production support: promptly react on alerts from a monitoring system and GSD requests in chat, implement production changes; analyze logs, solve issues.
• Deploy implemented changes to Production All the components (shared libraries) are written in C++. Meaning of most components is translating C++ interface calls to a particular network protocol provided by an exchange (and vice versa).
Most of maintains scripts are written in Python.

Requirements:

• Overall understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Excellent knowledge of C++
• Minimum 5 years experience in C++ on Unix systems (Linux, Solaris).
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms is required.
• Multithreaded development experience and sockets are required
• Knowledge of STL
• Knowledge of Boost (at least the parts became a part of C++11)
• Ability and desire to write well readable and low latency code.

Much preference will be given to candidates that have already worked with Market Data for feeds including some or all of these: CQS, UQDF, OPRA, ITCH, ArcaBook, OpenBook, BATS, CME.
