For our client – a leader in the market of service providers for the financial sector. We are currently seeking individuals for the position of Data Analyst. Location: Łódź

Main accountabilities
• Working with Data Supply vendors to arrange for the delivery of data feeds and provide feedback on the data
• Performing data downloads, analysis, checking and data fixing for incoming data feeds
• Create, review and maintain the content and accuracy of pertinent data documentation
• Identify any data or processing issues and immediately provide the appropriate notification for resolution
• Working with internal or external clients to understand the business needs behind their requests
• Regular contact with the client to provide feedback on progress of development / data analysis
• Creation of client reports

The ideal candidate for this position has
• University degree in IT
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis in a banking environment
• Advanced level of both written and spoken English
• Advanced knowledge of SQL (Oracle)
• Knowledge of SQL (MSSQL)
• Client facing experience
• Knowledge of MS Office Software with strong experience in using Excel
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to elicit and gather client requirements
• Ability to prioritize, multi task and deliver to deadlines
• Pro-active and able to take initiative
• Good team working skills with ability to work with a variety of people in different locations
• Good knowledge of English language

Desirable:
• Cultural sensitivity / experience in operating in a multi-market environment
• Strong awareness of data and data analysis
• Previous experience as a quality assurance/tester preferred
