Activities:

You will be working on-site at the European Space Agency as an Infrastructure Software Product Coordinator and will be responsible for following tasks:

● Check that the deliverables are free from any non-approved usage of any Third Party Product, and reporting violations to the appropriate technical officer or contract officer
● Check the licensability of the products to be delivered
● File software licenses and related media
● Trace any modification made by the licensees to the licenced software
● Obtain a license to the modifications and record such modifications in the software configuration management database
● Assisting the management of software licenses including the production of reports
● Act as interface to the Agency’s Technology and Product Transfer Board
● Collection and processing of data towards reporting, configuration management and traceability
● Act as secretary of the local SW Licensing Board
● Advice on licensability of ESA software
● Support open source and ESA Community Software initiatives

Required skills:

● University degree in Engineering, Science or a related subject
● Knowledge and experience of software licensing principles and standards as well as agreements / contracts
● Understanding of software licensability configuration
● Good analytical skills and attention to detail
● Excellent organisation skills
● Ability to work autonomously as part of a cross support function
● Efficient interpersonal communication skills
● Data management and reporting experience using MS Excel & Access.
● Customer/licensee liaison skills
● Fluency in English is mandatory
