DBA Oracle, mySQL, Berlin
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities for performance, integrity and security of our Databases as Senior DBA
- Maintaining, Planing and Troubleshooting of Database
- Integration of commercial Add-Ons
- Customizing, Maintaining and Support in a 24/7 environment
- Tuning of Database, inkl. SQL optimization
- Plan, scedule and implement backup strategy
- evaluation of new products and technologies
- Take part in projects and team presentations
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7 years of experience with ORACLE or MySQL
- experience in datamodelling and database design
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience in analyzing and tuning tools (like SQL analyzer, Statspack, AWR, TOAD)
- Experience in DB-Backup and recovery strategies
- Knowledge of Stand-By DB and replica systems
- Certification is a plus
- A good command of written and spoken English
